Born in Lisbon, and raised in Johannesburg, Dr. Eddie J. Fernandes (D. MIN.) co-founded Riverside International Church in Cascais, Portugal, where he continues to serve as senior pastor after 25 years. He is happily married to Marta Isabel since 1989 and the couple have three married daughters and five grandchildren, all serving in the Riverside Federation of Churches.
