Relating to life’s journey, these light devotionals are written with grace and express appreciation, admiration, and dedication to the important things in life, pointing all to God. Biblical, yet exploratory in nature, Kenneth E. Tatum’s writing is fun, sometimes quite humorous, including sound and wise Biblical insight from his many years being a father, husband, professor, and lover of God’s ways and Word.
Kenneth E. Tatum offers God’s way of living as subjects relate to life’s “moments” that make up all of our lives. Each devotional is unique, yet powerful, thought-provoking, giving new perspectives and inspiring faith.
Kenneth E. Tatum is a retired aerospace engineer who has taught adult Bible studies for over forty years. He grew up in the Bible Belt city of Nashville where he got an excellent Bible background, reading a chapter every night with his family. Accepting Christ as Savior at age eleven, he was confident in his salvation but was not deeply committed to Him as Lord. As a young married man, he was led to take a position teaching his Sunday School class after the previous teacher left, and has not stopped teaching since feeling called to the position. He has not stopped being a teacher and a student of the Word. His later experiences in Master Life, Prayer Life, and Experiencing God classes (both taking and teaching) led him into a richer and more rewarding relationship with his Lord. He was called to a day-to-day job as an engineer but has received the most joy in teaching Scripture and awareness of the beliefs of cults and other world religions. His wife Diane has been his constant encourager, and his extended family of two sons, two daughters-in-law, and four grandsons are continual blessings.
